Identity Verification (KYC)

To complete the identity verification and fully access all platform features, please ensure you have the following documents ready:

Individual:

1. Photo ID – could either be a Passport, Driver's License or any government issued ID
2. Proof of Address - Bank Statement, Utility Bill, Credit Card Bill (*should show the applicant's residence address and validity should be at least 3 months back), National ID with residence Address (*should be government issued with a legislative mandate to be updated upon change of address)

Corporate:

1. Certificate of Incorporation / Business Registration
2. Certificate of Incumbency
3. Register of Directors (A list of all Directors)
4. Proof of the Director's Residential Address
5. Photo of the Director's Passport

To proceed with the Identity verification:

• Go to Identity Verification Page (Login --> Profile (Top right)  -->  Verification)
  
• Click on Verify button if you wish to proceed for the individual verification.
• If you want to apply the corporate verification, please select Verify as Corporate from the top right corner as shown in the image above.
• Follow the instruction on the page to fill-in the information and upload required documents
• Click the Submit button to submit your verification request
  
  

Freedx uses a combination of AI and manual verification methods to improve accuracy and speed. Submitted verification documents are usually reviewed within 48 hours. However, it may take longer in some cases.

Tips:

- Please ensure all 4 corners of submitted documents / IDs are visible.

- Information in the photo ID should be clear, in focus, not covered and not modified/ tampered.

- Double-check that the information you provide matches exactly with the details on your documents.
